Independent Learning Evaluations
About

Meet Kris Munakash, LEP

Kris is a licensed Educational Psychologist with ten years of experience as a school psychologist in the K–12 setting — conducting full assessments, designing behavioral interventions, providing mental health counseling, and consulting directly with students and families on curriculum and classroom accommodations, modifications, program placement, and special needs identification.

Kris received his Masters degree in Experimental Psychology before going to achieve his PPS credential for School Psychology. Kris went on to complete an intensive diplomate program in School Neuropsychology, deepening their understanding of how brain functioning connects to learning, behavior, and academic performance. While not a Clinical Neuropsychologist, Kris integrates neuropsychological principles into every evaluation to build comprehensive, meaningful interpretations and truly individualized recommendations.

With direct experience navigating SAT/ACT and college documentation standards, Kris builds reports designed to be accepted the first time. Throughout the process, Kris maintains responsive communication with both families and referring professionals, staying attentive to application deadlines and test-date timelines — quick turnaround times can be accommodated when needed, and every evaluation is coordinated closely with the family.
